Our bottle openers are made from USED bourbon barrel staves, that come from local distilleries right here in Kentucky.
If you are not familiar with the rustic nature of used bourbon barrel staves, please consider another option.
We hand select every stave that we use, and we try to pick out the best staves available to us. We sand the majority of the charring off of the back, and address as many imperfections as possible on the front, but we believe these imperfections are what add to the uniqueness our a stave bottle opener.
